Solvent-based Sealers and Finishes

CARVER's solvent-based finishing cycles offer:

  • high yield
  • perfect adherence to any kind of wood
  • exceptional hardness united to the necessary elasticity
  • high resistance to abrasion and foot traffic. All the values we indicate are obtained by means of the Taber abraser tester, abrasive wheel CS10, 1000 grs weight, 1000 revolutions. When comparing our finishes with other ones, please remember that seemingly better values may spring from tests carried out with different methods.
  • high resistance to water and chemical cleaning products
  • wide variety of finishes, with different gloss and matting degrees

Our range of solvent-based sealing cycles is among the richest and includes: single- and two-component finishes, filler bonding agents, sealers, protectives and wood stains, coloured gloss paints.

STUCCO RS

Single-component, nitrosynthetic bonding agent for the preparation of filler by mixing with fine sanding dust. Fast-drying and easily sanded.

FONDO K2 07

FONDO K2 07

Two-component, fast-drying, polyurethane sealer with high solid content for wood floors. Very high build and easily sanded. Can be over-coated with our solvent-based finishes of the V3a series and our two-component, waterborne finishes.
It allows rapid finishing cycles (1 coat FONDO K2 07 + 1 coat finish).

ISOLANTE 65

ISOLANTE 65

Single-component, impregnating filler in alcoholic solvent for absorbing wood species. Suitable as quick-drying sealer in combination with our water- and solvent-based finishes. It does not darken the wood colour and is particularly suitable for teak and light woods. Ready-to-use product.

Two-component, polyurethane, high-solids sealer for wood floors. It allows to obtain closed-pore finishing, is quick-drying and easily sanded.
